Kids will have the Museum to themselves while celebrating summer with picnic-themed activities: make your own frisbee, shake up lemonade in a bag, and craft a squish watermelon bag to play with all summer long. Exploring human curiosity and sparking the imagination, Circus Bella offers a contemporary twist on the one-ring circus, overflowing with heart, humor and soul. The 60-minute performances, directed by Circus Bella founder Abigail Munn, feature the amazing Circus Bella company – a diverse and talented troupe of acrobats, aerialists, jugglers and clowns – performing to the live original music of accordionist Rob Reich and the outstanding six-piece Circus Bella All-Star Band.

A dancer, singer, teacher, playwright and filmmaker, Eddie Madril specializes in the dance and culture of the United States Plains Indian tribes from southern Canada, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma. For some four decades Madril’s involvement and commitment to Native heritage has provided him with the opportunity to share a wealth of information amongst diverse communities, encouraging appreciation and respect for American Indian dance, music, religion, history, art and sign language. Join Madril for a presentation that enthralls and informs young audiences.
